Alice Didier
Book Cover Designer & Illustrator
Alice is an illustrator and graphic designer based near Paris, with over 10 years of experience in design, illustration, typography, and photography. Specializing in book cover design, she combines her skills to create impactful visuals, particularly within the thriller, horror, and fantasy genres. Her style is defined by a strong sense of contrast and an artistic approach that blends black and white with carefully selected color palettes. She enjoys subverting reality through conceptual illustrations that invite viewers to linger, explore, and uncover hidden details within the image. Books, visual storytelling, and imagery that sparks curiosity are at the core of her work. Creating covers that engage readers, make them think, and encourage them to pick up a book is her vocation. Highlighting words and creating a visual showcase for stories is her mission. With a solid background in project management, Alice collaborates closely with her clients to meet their expectations while respecting deadlines. She primarily works in black and white, whether digitally or on paper, but also enjoys experimenting with cut-outs, collages, montages, and photography. Her imagination rarely stays within boundaries. When she’s not drawing, she’s likely at the cinema, discovering new stories and immersing herself in different worlds (long live the unlimited movie card). She’s also a Space Invader hunter, using street art as an excuse to explore new cities around the world. She loves avocados, chocolate, and her black cat — who looks suspiciously like a tiny vampire.
